If you prefer a more hands-on approach, creating your Sea Moss Gel is the perfect way to explore your kitchen skills and have some fun with the whole family! Add a few additional ingredients and infuse your favourite natural flavours to elevate the taste and benefits.

  • A Blender

  • Two bowls

  • A colander

  • Scissors

  • Limes

  • Limes squeezer

  • A Scale

  • Tongs

  • Knife

  • An empty 1L jar

  • A chopping board

  • Grab your Raw Sea Moss, limes and water.

  • Weigh your Sea Moss. For a 1L jar, we use 40grams.

  • Fill a bowl with filtered water and pop the Sea Moss in, to pre-soak it.

    Let it sit for 5 minutes to soften.

  • Give your Sea Moss a good clean to remove all the existing ocean debris.

  • Transfer your clean Sea Moss to another bowl with filtered water. Chop your lime in half, squeeze both halves and add them to the soaked Sea Moss. Let it soak for 24 hours.

  • After 24 hours soaked your Sea Moss will be soft and have a light creamy colour.

  • Strain the water and take the lime out.

  • Add the Sea Moss to the blender with 1100ml of filtered water and blend until smooth consistency is achieved. Add more water for desired consistency.

  • Pour the Sea Moss into your jar and leave it in the fridge for 3-4 hours to set with a lovely gel consistency. Keep your Sea Moss refrigerated at all times.

  • Your gel is ready! Time to enjoy it! You are now set with a Sea Moss jar full of nutrients ready for the weeks ahead.
